Adam Russell is a Knoxville, Tennessee native who has spent his career helping people and businesses with their legal challenges. His practice covers a wide range of civil litigation, including personal injury, business and employment disputes, and commercial disputes regarding contract and real estate matters. He also works with small and medium-sized businesses on the operational side of things providing legal assistance and helping to navigate the challenges that come with growing and sustaining a successful company.

As he has done since he began his legal career, Mr. Russell continues doing what he enjoys best about the legal profession: appearing in court and trying cases. He has tried numerous jury and bench trials in both state and federal courts across Tennessee, and he routinely works with out-of-state attorneys serving as local counsel pro hac vice in Tennessee.

Before co-founding Fisher | Russell, Mr. Russell spent time at a large regional firm, where he defended companies of all sizes in premises liability and workers’ compensation matters. He later moved to a mid-sized firm, where he developed experience handling plaintiff-side work and representing businesses in employment-related matters.

In his spare time, Mr. Russell enjoys spending time with his wife and two boys, playing golf, and supporting the VOLS. He also works part-time as an adjunct professor at Lincoln Memorial University – Duncan School of Law teaching trial advocacy.
